“this is me now” is an earnest, sentimental track about self-growth and getting older. A song from Martin’s upcoming album “man oh man !” set for release on February 21st, you can hear the wistful warmth produced by using almost exclusively analogue technology to record. Using tape machines and vintage mics has brought a nostalgic character to the track that is reflected in its words - Martin’s gentle, husky voice tells a sincere story of coming to terms with your older self, along with everything you’ve been along the way.
